Brentford SportsFEST is an event that offers a wide variety of sports and health focused activities for all the family including:
Water Sports - starts at 10am
Fancy trying something new? We’re offering a unique opportunity to try stand-up paddleboarding or kayaking at Brentford Lock.
Through our partners Active 360 and Team Keane, you can enjoy getting to know the basics of stand-up paddleboarding or kayaking from our facility at Brentford Lock.
Running Events - starts at 9.30am
The 3k & 5k course (looped for 10k), takes you through the stunning grounds of the Duke of Northumberland’s private gardens within Syon Park, which are normally closed to the public.
The course is a mixture of trail, path, meadow and parkland. Make sure you lace up your jogging shoes, as there are some stretches of the course that pass over rough ground and open meadow!
Walk and Talk - starts at 10.30am
The 5k Walk & Talk event is designed to highlight awareness of mental health issues. Exercise and friendship are two fantastic ways to support everyone’s mental health and wellbeing.
Together in partnership with the West London Mental Health Trust, the Walk and Talk event is a fun way to ensure a healthy lifestyle and increased wellbeing can be achieved by everyone.
Primary Schools Challenge - starts at 11.15am
This year alongside our traditional 1k run, we are launching a Primary School relay challenge, supported by London Irish Foundation, giving young people of all ability the chance to take part in our event.
The school that recruits the largest number of participants will win a Brentford FC First Team player visit.
Sports Village opens from 9.15am to 1pm
This year our sports village will be bigger! Participants will be able to find activities such as cricket simulator, different fun inflatable activities, a soft play area for the little ones and rugby activities provided by London Irish Foundation.
Please note this is a supervised playing area where your children can have fun in a safe place, during the adult running races.
